On Sunday, August 3rd, starting at 4pm, the next Buffalo Reading Invasion is taking place in a new space: Wilkeson Pointe, on Buffalo’s Outer Harbor (article here). The Pointe is complete with rest rooms, is dog friendly, has plenty of room for everyone, and comes with an incredible view of Lake Erie.
This time around, we are partnering with the 21st Century Park on the Outer Harbor (http://21stcenturypark.org/), a local group dedicated to turning the outer harbor area into a public park. Please come hear from them about their plans for the rest of the Outer Harbor.
So please join us for an afternoon of reading along one of the great remaining undeveloped waterfronts in the United States. Please bring a friend, something to sit on, a picnic if you wish, and something to read.
It’s a little tricky to get to, but well worth the trip. See the map below for details.
